I know that running a road race is a potentially dangerous activity. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running or walking in this event including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, traffic and the conditions of roads or sidewalks, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing the facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Girls on the Run International, Girls on the Run of Dane County, GOTR 5K Race Director, The Village of Waunakee and Village Center and all other sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photography, motion picture, recording, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. The event director has the right to cancel this event in the case of severe weather. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
